Beyond Analysis, the international consumer insight specialist, has offices in London, UK; Warsaw, Poland; Noida, India and Sydney, Australia. For the past three months its UK centre has benefitted from the services provided by Bluecube Technology Solutions. It’s not just support. Beyond Analysis also utilises the highly secure data centre solutions offered by Bluecube.

As Beyond Analysis continued to demonstrate impressive growth, its management team recognised the benefit of consolidating IT service provision and utilising a single provider for both its UK and Sydney operations. The enormous volume and business sensitive nature of the data that Beyond Analysis handles meant that a totally reliable and above all secure service, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, was imperative.

“Bluecube had clearly demonstrated it was committed to Beyond Analysis as a client and shown it could provide the highest levels of service in the UK. But we needed the team there to prove to us that they could cost-effectively deliver services globally, with no loss of efficiency and no compromise on security. They didn’t disappoint.”

Carl Ward, Chief Operating Officer, Beyond Analysis

“We already support clients throughout the world including those based in China, Australia, New Zealand, UAE, Germany, Netherlands, the USA, India and Malaysia,” says James Hawker, Bluecube’s Chief Executive. “I believe our track record in delivering IT support and data solutions globally is second to none when comparing us to similar sized companies.

And we take data security extremely seriously. Our data centre facilities are designed to host mission critical systems. They operate to Tier 4 Data Centre Standards, which means the highest levels of security and 99.995% availability guaranteed!”

Another requirement was flexibility. Beyond Analysis is a growing business with a rapidly increasing client base. What suits today in terms of IT infrastructure may not fulfil business needs in the future.

“We needed an IT service provider with a proven track record in secure data centre services; one that could deliver not only security for us and our clients, but demonstrate the flexibility to adapt to our needs as a high growth business. On the basis of proposals submitted and our satisfaction with its services to date, Bluecube was the only realistic choice for us.” adds Carl Ward, Chief Operating Officer, Beyond Analysis

“We are delighted to have been chosen by Beyond Analysis as its global IT solutions provider,” says James Hawker. “It’s a sound endorsement of the services we provide and demonstrates the trust they have in our capabilities. It also means we will be extending our global reach with the commissioning of two new data facilities; one in Sydney and one in Melbourne.”

Bluecube Technology Solutions beats stiff competition from over 40 IT service providers to win contract to support the Workers’ Educational Association (WEA).

As one of the UK’s biggest charities, established in 1903, WEA provides access to education and learning for adults from all backgrounds, particularly those who have previously missed out. It operates at local, regional and national levels with a National Association of 450 branches.

WEA sought a provider who could demonstrate the requisite skills to design, commission and install a new IT infrastructure and provide ongoing support to all users. As a charity, WEA has to ensure it operates as cost effectively and efficiently as possible, particularly given the current difficult economic climate. This meant that cost reduction and efficient service delivery for end users were two key criteria of the tendering process. It was also important that the successful company demonstrated its commitment to working with a national charity.

Bluecube’s drive, enthusiasm and tenacity proved to be successful. Moreover, it was subjected to enhanced due diligence as part of the process, which it came through with flying colours.

“Bluecube’s proven track record with charities was a crucial factor in our decision to enlist its services. WEA’s management, staff and clients will all see the benefit of bespoke new systems and the dedicated support Bluecube provides.” - John Nixon, Director of Communications and Marketing at WEA.

“Winning the contract with WEA is something we are very proud of,” says James Hawker, Chief Executive at Bluecube. “It’s a real indictment of our capabilities and financial stability. But what makes it even more satisfying is that we definitely connected with WEA’s values and ethos, which really drove us during the tendering process.”

“The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and the Big Issue have been valued clients for some time and we’ve learnt a lot from them. I’m convinced that the knowledge and experience gained with important charities like these, combined with our demonstrable commitment to them, gave us the edge when it came to tendering for the WEA contract.”

The bespoke new IT infrastructure went live in early February and Bluecube is now providing WEA with dedicated day-to-day system and user support. This will mean more robust and reliable systems, less downtime for users and greater efficiencies across the board - ultimately saving WEA time and money.

“The ability to provide reliable but cost-effective IT services was a fundamental requirement of any company entering the tendering process,” says John Nixon, Director of Communications and Marketing at WEA, “but we also wanted to find a company that really demonstrated a desire to work with us and have an understanding of our aims and values. Bluecube ticked all the right boxes and we’re confident we have chosen an ideal partner.”

As a result of the deal, Bluecube integrated members of staff from WEA’s internal IT team and so minimised the impact of outsourcing on its employees.

“We are very proud to have been able to take on a number of people from WEA whose continued commitment to the charity and its aims will help us to deliver the highest levels of service,” says James Hawker.

Bluecube Technology Solutions are announced as finalists of the Milton Keynes and North Bucks Chamber of Commerce's 'Innovation through Technology' Award, sponsored by the Open University.

Bluecube Technology Solutions, who provide a complete range of IT and telecoms solutions to meet the needs of small and medium sized organisations, by delivering technical advice, support and managed services to the highest professional standards, are proud to be shortlisted in the technology category of the Business Excellence Awards.

Considerable credit for the honour goes to Bluecube's software development division, a notable distinction of the IT company, which frequently draws attention following eDofE, the online system they created to replace The Duke of Edinburgh's Award's traditional paper-based record book.

"Our Service Desk lies at the heart of operations, providing the portal through which all of our solutions are efficiently managed. By combining the experience and dedication of our engineers with the technological advances of the new system, we are uniquely positioned to offer unparalleled technical support. We are delighted to have the innovation of our Service Desk recognised through this award and the enhanced support and empowerment that it extends to our clients highlighted." James Hawker, Bluecube's CEO

Their latest achievement and the focus of the 'Innovation through Technology' award is Bluecube's new Service Desk, which was designed and built from the ground up by the inhouse team.

The innovations of the custom-built Service Desk to be highlighted by the award include extended visibility, accountability and control experienced by service users, throughout their IT support and infrastructure management. The results of these improvements are a radical increase in customer service and satisfaction levels, which have been acknowledged across the board.

The winner of the award will be announced on the 12th October at the Chamber of Commerce Annual Business Excellence Award Night.
