2nd Line Engineer

As a 2nd line engineer your role is to proactively ensure that all clients have continual exceptional operational service and all support is performed with minimal business impact on the customer within agreed service levels.

You will be providing technical support across many platforms for multiple clients.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • You will ideally have 2-3 years experience in a 2nd Line Support or Server Support role
  • Knowledge of SQL Server, Server 2003 and 2008, Exchange 2003 and 2007 and Terminal Services (RDP) as well as PC / client Operating Systems is all an advantage
  • You will have a strong knowledge of Microsoft environments, virtualisation and have proficient problem solving skills
  • Essential to have good customer service skills and be confident on the phone
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to follow processes
  • Willing to learn and develop skills
